Violin Pedagogy & Violin Technique Videos
+ Inspirational Stories & More
When I went back to school 6 years ago I was so impressed with how much online tutorial videos helped me as a student that I decided to do the same thing for my violin studio. This was the initial inspiration for my youtube channel but it has since expanded into parent education talks, motivational speakers, pedagogy & more. You can click on the playlist below or scroll down to see the videos on particular topics.

"It's the Challenge that Changes You!" with Jon Joseph
Allegro Suzuki Violin Studio & Jon Joseph, founder of ReNA fitness joined together for an afternoon of music making and inspiration. We explored an unlikely connection between Shinichi Suzuki’s philosophy for nurturing talent and a local fitness professional’s unique creation. When Jon was in his late 50's he had a bi-lateral quadricep rupture and was told he would never walk again. With the support of his family, staying focused and a positive attitude, he climbed Mount Kilimanjaro one year later. Jon has since developed a fitness program with such exceptional results that Olympic athletes train with him and it is being studied by the University of Oregon.
