The Backwards Music Level 2 collection picks up where Backwards Music (Level 1) left off, explores more key signatures (A, D & G Major + G Minor), and features intermediate-level pieces. "Umm, what exactly are these?" The Backwards Music arrangements are exactly what they sound like - I take popular intermediate-level violin compositions and transcribe them backward.
"Well, that's an interesting idea, but why?" In theory, I believe that our students should be able to read music at the level they perform at, so this puts that theory to test by using the same pitches and rhythms of the repertoire they study, just organized differently. Also, I love adding fun things like this to spice up my group classes and use with students before an audition as sight-reading practice.

And YES, they sound good - I only chose pleasant arrangements when transcribed backward.
