You have a beautiful challenge in front of you. Everyday you get to navigate the ups and downs of nurturing an environment to develop the talent of a young musician. Your child's developmental needs will vary wildly and be influenced by the smallest of things (like hearing a cartoon character play Jingle Bells on the violin or getting praise from an older student at group class).
Stay steadfast in your vision.
Children live in the moment but your job as an adult is to hold a viewpoint that embraces the future decades for your young child seeing beyond their young mind's present perspective and navigating the environment to prepare them for the highest outcomes in the future.
I repeatedly told my mother I hated the violin but she knew the greatest parenting secret - children speak in code. I write about this HERE and made a video HERE for you as parents to learn more about this.
Please let me help you. I created this website to be of service to you and keep your heart strong in the work you do behind the scenes to provide a music education for your child.
